We issue Proof of Funds and Standby Letters of Credit for and on behalf of our clients supporting their various transactions, including but not limited to real estate, construction, commodities trade, securities trade and many others. Our Proof of Funds and Standby Letters of Credit may be issued with the client as beneficiary or to a third party beneficiary, as ordered by the client. Our Proof of Funds and Standby Letters of Credit are issued by financial institutions to a US Escrow Agent and held by the Escrow Agent (with written confirmation) for the benefit of the beneficiary, as ordered by the client. The Proof of Funds we issue, is purely for accommodation and is not to be construed as a finance commitment or otherwise. The Standby Letters of Credit we issue, are purely an accommodation instrument and are not for sale or leased. Our Proof of Funds and Standby Letters of Credit may be issued for a term of 30 days on up to 12 months. As to the amounts under each POF or SBLC, we do not like to issue Proof of Funds or Standby Letters of Credit less than USD 400,000 or greater than USD 25.0 million. With regards to issuance charges, the charges are based on the exposure period, transaction type and wording.
